These are simply wonderful. I keep my oils in drawers to protect them from heat and light. These little racks are perfect. Before I had to pick up each bottle to read the label, now I can easily see the labels without having to go through the bottles one by one. I have a lot of oils and the company I buy from uses squarish bottles, but they fit perfectly on here. Love it. A real convenience and time saver! These are good quality racks and look nice too.

There are two types of chamomile oil, Roman and German. Esoteric Oils explains that while both oils have calming properties, Roman chamomile is better at treating mental irritation, impatience and PMS while German chamomile is more effective in the treatment of irritated skin 3. Both types promote overall digestive health and may help calm an upset stomach.

Health benefits: Protects wounds from becoming septic, fights infections, removes toxins from the body, neutralizes free radicals and reverses the effects of oxidation. For respiratory support. Frankincense is a powerful health support for respiratory problems such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumonia, and bronchitis. It even helps when suffering from laryngitis. Diffuse it into the room where you intend to spend some time. For best results, use an ultrasonic cool mist diffuser. Never heat essential oils, because heating them diminishes their therapeutic effects.

After years of carrying around this unasked question, I discovered that the term “essential oil” was coined by the sixteenth-century alchemist Paracelsus because, in his mind, these substances contained the quintessence of plants. Centuries earlier, Greek philosophers had proposed that matter appears in four forms (air, earth, fire, and water), and Aristotle had proposed a fifth form—in Latin, the quinta essentia—which would represent the essence of things. To Paracelsus, the oils represented the most concentrated form of the individual characteristics of the plant—its essence. Today, I often get a blank stare when I tell people that I breed essential oil plants. However, like most people, I love to talk about my intense interests, and given time, comfortable surroundings, maybe a cup of tea, and a willing ear, I’m likely to launch into a discussion of one of my favorite subjects—essential oils.
Many essential oils are steam distilled, which involves simmering the plant material to produce steam, which travels through a tube, which is then run through cold water. The liquid that forms from condensation will be in two parts, a water compound, and an oil compound. The water compound is where floral waters, such as lavender and rose water, come from. The oils that rise to the top are DIY essential oils.
With neuroprotective effects and cognitive performance boosting abilities, essential oil benefits have helped many people who are suffering from neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and dementia. In a scientific review published in Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience, researchers found that because essential oils possess powerful antioxidants that work to inhibit free radical scavenging, they help to naturally improve brain function and reduce inflammation.

As far as your pup’s skin allergy, I understand how frustrating it must be for the both of you because I have been going through that with my fur baby (Yorkshire Terrier) for a while now, as well. The vet has her taking Apoquel which seems to ease off from scratching herself. Her paws seem to be what bothers her the most. There is a product I have tried before called Natural Dog Company (https://naturaldogcompany.com/) that sell things for their skin, paws, noses, etc. I have bought their Paw Soother stick and it helped my dog’s paws a lot! Maybe you can check them out. Hope these two links help you and your pup out 🙂
There’s no wonder why, considering the high cost of healthcare bills and the side effects of conventional medications, adding such oils to your personal medicine cabinet and lifestyle can make a world of difference. This is especially true because essential oils benefits are vast and essential oils uses range from aromatherapy, household cleaning products, personal beauty care and natural medicine treatments.
